Danny Jackson, age 76 of Harriet, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, March 20th, 2026 at Ozark Health in Clinton, Arkansas. He was born in Harriet, Arkansas on December 31st, 1949 to William Rufus Jackson and Thelma Pemberton Jackson. Danny married Narine Stevens in December of 1970.

Danny worked for 30 plus years at Westrock in Harrison before his retirement. He enjoyed going hunting with his son, Steve and loved listening to his running dogs. Danny was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing the game. He also liked working in his yard. His greatest joy was spending time with family and grandkids, especially his great-granddaughter, who was the apple of his eye. Danny's strong presence will be greatly missed by those who loved him best.

Survivors include his wife of 56 plus years, Narine Jackson of the home; one son, Steve Jackson and wife Stacy of Harrison; grandchildren, McKenzie Jackson and Briar Jackson, both of Harrison; great-granddaughter, Arya Jackson of Harrison; siblings, Donnie Jackson and wife Arlene of Rogers and Nadra Jackson of St. Joe; and numerous extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Thelma Jackson; his siblings, William Dorsey Jackson, Jerry Alvin Jackson, Buddy Richard Jackson, Betty Fern Chivington and Barbara Yeager.

Graveside services for Danny will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, March 25th, 2026 at Rock Creek Cemetery in Harriet, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Horton officiating. A graveside visitation will be 11:00 till 12:00 PM preceding the service. Honorary bearers will be Charles Harness, Clint Harness, Farrell Jackson, Bobby Holtby, Billy Holtby and David Eastep.
