Ricky Gene Jewell

of Benton, AR

October 29, 1950 - March 14, 2026

Ricky Gene Jewell, age 75, passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas, on March 14, 2026. He was born on October 29, 1950, in Dyess, Arkansas, to Arthur Claude and Beulah Inez ''Bobbie'' Jewell, both of whom preceded him in death.

Ricky grew up in Dyess and graduated from Dyess High School with the class of 1968. In 1972, he moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, with his wife, Judy, and their young son, Dwayne. There he joined the family business, Razorback Bumper Service, where he worked faithfully for 40 years.

Ricky was a man who loved his family deeply. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy, and by his sons, Ricky Dwayne Jewell and his wife, Kristie and Jeremy Wade Jewell and his wife, Felicia. He was a proud grandfather to Timothy Hampton, Joshua Hampton, Amanda Rice, Jordan Jewell, and Alison Jewell, all of whom brought him great joy. He is also survived by his siblings Franklin ''Frankie'' Jewell, Shirley Parker, Dedrick ''Peck'' Jewell, and Joey Jewell.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Orville Jewell, Pauline Smith, and Claude Bedford ''Buddy'' Jewell. After retirement, Ricky and Judy fulfilled a lifetime dream of traveling the United States together in their RV. For 10 years they enjoyed the freedom of the open road, exploring new places and making memories together along the way.

Ricky loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. But more than anything, he loved spending time outdoors with his family. He also especially enjoyed hosting family and friends, gathering around either the swimming pool or the dinner table, and playing games together. Those times of laughter and always excellent meals were some of the moments he treasured most. Ricky will be remembered for his steadiness, his love for his family, and the many memories he created with those around him.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 3:00PM in the chapel of Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton with Bro. Jeremy Jewell and Bro. Bob Hall officiating.

Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 2:00PM until Service time at the funeral home.
