George C Morrow

of Heber Springs, AR

October 30, 1948 - March 4, 2026

George Carlos Morrow, age 77, passed away on March 4, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was born October 30, 1948, in Caldwell, Missouri, to Louis Carlos "LC" Morrow and Montie Morrow (née Hooks).

George proudly served the community as a Sergeant with the Marion Police Department for 32 years of honorable and dedicated service. Throughout his career in law enforcement, he was known for his commitment to protecting and serving the people of his community with integrity and pride. After retiring from the Marion Police Department, George continued working hard, spending 17 years as a truck driver.

He was a member of JSM Ministries. George loved the simple joys of life. He especially enjoyed fishing whenever he had the chance and spending time outdoors. He took great pride in working around his yard, often mowing the lawn or running his weed eater, keeping everything just the way he liked it. Above all, he cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jessie Morrow (née Gilmer); his sons, George ''Junior'' Morrow of Hughes, Arkansas; Carlos Morrow (Dedra) of Hughes, Arkansas; David Morrow (Shannon) of Bay Village, Arkansas; and Kyle Robbins (Alexis) of Wooster, Arkansas; and his daughter, Pamela Webb (Larry) of Bono, Arkansas. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. George is further survived by his brother, Mike Morrow of Marked Tree, Arkansas, and his sisters, Tammy Collins of Marion, Arkansas, and Carol Constant of Lepanto, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louis "LC" and Montie Morrow, brothers; Tommy Morrow and Charles David Morrow; Sisters; Linda Brewer, Sharon Herron, and Betty Faye Morrow.

George will be remembered for his dedication to serving his community, his strong work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and the pride he took in caring for his home and family. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched throughout his years of service and through the family he loved so deeply.

Sad day for those of us still here but oh what a rejoicing in heaven when you came home. Thank you George for the example of what a man is supposed to be. Thank you for loving me and mine and for the protection you gave me in a time of my life when I had no one else. See you soon! Love you and yours Teresa

I've known and worked alongside George much longer than I can remember. Met him when I came to Crittenden County with the ARKANSAS STATE POLICE and we became friends immediatley. I left law enforcement a couple of times and came back and once again, worked with GEORGE and loved every minute of it......I hated to hear the news that he passed and I blame myself for not keeping in touch with him over the years. R.I.P George......such a good man......
