There have been so many hard days without you here with us, Daddy. The kids and I are forever lost without you, but as you always reminded me I have warriors' blood in my veins…generations of them, especially yours, so I will stay strong like I promised you and you don't worry about me. I will never let the kids forget what all you did for us. You gave me my life, and you saved it more than once. You are the best Daddy a girl could ever dream of and an even better Grandpa. You gave us security, safety, comfort, understanding, peace and compassion, patience, wisdom, joy, and unconditional love that no one else will ever be able to measure up to. You always put us first and never let us forget that we were your top priority. Every time we see the moon, feel the sunshine on our skin, swim in rivers and oceans, walk along the beach, hike to the top of a mountain, see a beautiful bird fly by, (and trust me I could go on and on) we will think of you, smile with our tears as we honor you and hold space in our hearts for you until we are together again. And when my time comes, I won't be scared because if you say jump, you know I will without hesitation or question and wherever you are is where I'll end up too. If you jump, I jump. I love you Daddy, through every realm and every lifetime.
