Rose Marie Mooreof Mayflower, AR
August 20, 1929 - March 3, 2026
Rose Marie Moore, 96, of Mayflower, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl J. Brown Sr., her mother, Marie F. Brown, her brothers, Carl Brown Jr. and Bill Brown Sr., and her nephew, Gary Brown.
Rose is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Garry W. Moore, and her daughter, Linda M. Lewis. She is also survived by four nieces and two nephews, Janet Garner (Roger), Carla Hooten (Paul), Joy Gray (Tony), India Dangeau (Jeff), Bill Brown Jr., and Mark Brown. They all called her Aunt Babe, from her childhood nickname.
For 32 years, Rose worked at BEI Electronics in Maumelle. Being smart, kind, and always helpful, she was a perfect fit in the Personnel Department. At BEI she met her husband Garry and made so many friends over the years.
A few years before she retired, Rose and Garry built their house on Lake Conway in Mayflower. They worked every weekend for a little over a year, doing most of the physical labor themselves. She loved doing yard work and taking care of her home, and after retiring she liked to do woodworking in the shop they built in the back yard.
All her life Rose loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She loved donating to the Mayflower Animal Shelter. Her latest dog Misty, a pocket beagle, was on her lap or in the living room with her most of the time.
Visitation will be held at 10am, Monday, March 9th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with a graveside service following at 11am at Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway.
