Samuel ''Sammy'' Human, age 80, of Marion, Arkansas, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on February 3, passing peacefully in his home. He was born on May 10, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee, the youngest of four children born to Carl Human Sr. and Maude Human.
Samuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of many years, Patricia Sue Human (Holbrook); his parents; and two sons, Paul Human and Robert Brock; and brothers, Carl Human (Billye, surviving) and Glen Human.
He is survived by his son, Wade Human (Suzanne); his daughters, Lori Brock and Carrie McCoy; and five cherished granddaughters: Rachel Trentham (Brandon), Sarah Michael (Wes), Brooke Williams, Lynzi Wiggins (Dillon), and Montana Lovell (Lathan). He also leaves behind ten great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters, all of whom brought him great joy and pride. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Rose Hicks (Stan, deceased).
Sammy grew up in Marianna, Arkansas, where he graduated from high school before proudly serving in the United States Army. He spent many years working in the printing industry, known for his strong work ethic and dedication. After retirement, he began a second career as co-owner of Wade-N-Pop's Fish Market, where he once again found community, purpose and fulfillment before retiring again.
An avid sports fan, Sammy loved all sports but was especially devoted to the Arkansas Razorbacks, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty. Additionally, he was an enthusiastic fisherman, a love he inherited from his father and passed on to his sons.
Samuel ''Sammy'' Human will be remembered for his faith, sense of humor, deep love for his family, strong work ethic, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on through the generations who loved him.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas. There will be no visitation.
