Dwight Kenneth Stewart

of Little Rock, AR

April 10, 1964 - January 20, 2026

Dwight Kenneth Stewart of Little Rock, Arkansas, age 61, entered eternal life on January 20, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1964, in Denton, Texas.

Family was the center of Dwight's world. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a faithful Christian, having accepted Christ at the age of 10 and remaining a lifelong follower of the Lord. Dwight was known for building strong, meaningful relationships with his family, friends, and the many patients whose lives he touched over his 37 years in practice.

Dwight graduated from Denton High School in 1982 and attended North Texas State University, where he was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. He later earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic, graduating as salutatorian. In 1988, Dwight moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked alongside Steve Bennett at Bennett Chiropractic for two years before founding his own practice, now known as Pain Care Associates. A dedicated and respected chiropractor, he cared for many of his patients for decades. Dwight was a long-standing member of the Arkansas Chiropractic Society and Arkansas Chiropractic Physicians Association.

An avid outdoorsman, Dwight developed a deep love for nature during his youth while pursuing the rank of Life Scout. He was also strongly influenced by annual family trips to the Rocky Mountains. That passion ultimately led him to Arkansas, where he put down roots and built his life and career. Dwight loved trips to Kansas and Colorado for hunting, treasuring the fellowship with family and friends even more than the hunt itself, along with biking, dirt bike riding, snow skiing and spending many summers on Lake Ouachita.

Dwight loved traveling with his family. Some of his favorite places included Cabo San Lucas, Colorado, Seaside and New Orleans. No matter the destination, being together with family and friends mattered most to him.

He was an active member of Parkway Place Church in Little Rock, where his faith and fellowship were a very important part of his life. Dwight will be remembered as caring, thoughtful, loyal, and deeply considerate, a man whose quiet strength and steady love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Dwight was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Stewart, and his brother, Daryl Stewart.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Teresa (Gateley) Stewart; his daughter, Alyssa Stewart; his stepson, Bradley Richardson (Madison); his stepdaughter, Sydney Dale (Aaron); and four cherished grandchildren, Collins, Monroe, Rhodes, and Quinn, who lovingly call him ''Pop.'' He is also survived by his mother, Francene Stewart; sister, Dana Ledford (Victor), sister-in-law, Leslie Stewart, as well as many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Parkway Place Church followed immediately by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Dwight will be laid to rest at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to Parkway Place Church, 300 Parkway Place Drive, Little Rock, AR 72211, or Bighorn Ministries, 9088 County Road 76, Ohio City, CO 81237.
