Kelli Ann Curtis-Waschkaof Little Rock, AR
July 10, 1963 - January 21, 2026
Kelli Ann Curtis-Waschka, 62, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on January 21st from cancer, surrounded by loved ones.
Kelli was born on July 10, 1963, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Robert Curtis and Rebecca Womble. The Curtis family then moved to Arlington, Texas, where Kelli grew up. She said her childhood was like the show ''The Wonder Years.''
Kelli graduated from Arlington High School in 1981. She then attended Southwest Texas University. Over the years she was a hairdresser before becoming an office manager. However, Kelli would say her only purpose in life was to be a mother: she always wanted a big family. In 1996, Kelli married Philip Waschka (1996-2004), and they welcomed their daughter, Carly Beth Waschka. Kelli was unable to have more children, so she dedicated her life to being a devoted mother to Carly.
Kelli was the life of every party and made friends everywhere she went. The phrase ''never met a stranger'' described her perfectly. She was kind, intelligent, and absolutely hilarious. Kelli was the best friend you could ever have. She enjoyed cooking, music, movies, and her favorite soap opera, ''General Hospital.''
Kelli is survived by her daughter, Carly Waschka Roulet and her husband Greyson Roulet; her twin sister Karen Hamilton and her husband, Ken Hamilton, sister Cydney Fullen, brother Scott Curtis, niece Alissa Sholes her children Ava Sharp, Ella Sholes and Parker Sholes, nephew Clint Fullen and his wife Gaby Fullen, their daughter Malia Fullen, niece Becca Fullen and her children Ross Moore and Win Moore, and her partner Daniel Gillis.
She was preceded in death by her father Robert Curtis and mother Rebecca Womble Knott.
